Stephanie (Steve) worked as a freelance feature writer for many years before being offered a place on the two-year full time acting course at The Poor School, London in 2007.

Steve, who is currently learning Scottish Gaelic with Dundee University, won a Break A Leg award for her performance as M'Lynn in "Steel Magnolias" at The Hope Theatre, London (see Press Reviews) and was short-listed for Best Actress for her portrayal as Mrs Bates in Dennis Potter's "Brimstone & Treacle" at The Hope Theatre, London.

She also understudied Alison Steadman as eccentric Medium Madame Arcati in Theatre Royal Bath's production of Noel Coward's comedy, "Blythe Spirit", performing at The Apollo, Shaftesbury Avenue.

Additional Information

An experienced voiceover and audiobook reader, Steve has been an accredited reader with the RNIB since 2001 as well as doing corporate and commercial voiceover and audiobook work.

In addition to learning Scottish Gaelic (March-July 2018), Steve holds a clean driving licence, knits, does shorthand and touch typing and has (very basic) fencing and horse riding and Scottish country dancing.
